Jonathan Rush (ジョナサン・ラッシュ Jonasan Rasshu) is a Boost-type Hyper Card in 100% Orange Juice. It is owned by Seagull.

Additional Information

Jonathan Rush gives the user a choice on who to target. The user then proceeds to engage the targeted player to a battle while reducing their Defense stat by -1. After the battle, the user's turn ends.

Jonathan Rush sways a single battle in favor of the user, due to the reduced Defense stat it gives. It is best used on easily hunting down targets, such as the player with the most amount of stars, and against fragile characters. However, the reduced Defense stat may not be enough, since all battles are still determined by dice rolls, and their opponent could still defend with a good roll. As such, the user should use the chance to put the odds on their favor, like using offensive Battle Cards such as

When used and the target has been selected, the user goes straight directly to the target, bypassing all the panels present.
