Marie Poppo (まりーぽっぽ Marīpoppo) is one of the Unlockable Characters in 100% Orange Juice. She is an original character from the game.
There is another, separate form of Marie Poppo named Marie Poppo (Mixed).
Notes
Marie Poppo is a character with very subpar stats, having a -1 in Attack, Defense, and Evasion. She makes up for this, however, with her very large amount of HP, allowing her to survive a bit longer even with her poor combat abilities. As such, she should be played with a focus on Stars rather than Wins, as she'll have a much easier time collecting stars than defeating opponents.
Her Hyper card, Ubiquitous, works well with the focus on stars, allowing her to steal stars from her opponents. The downside is that she also teleports to her target's location, which makes her vulnerable to counterattacks by her victims. Thus it should be used with caution, and preferably with a way to escape after using the card.
Useful Cards
- Dash! can be used to run away from powerful characters who are trying to KO Poppo.
- Here and There can similarly be used to teleport away from threatening players.
- Reverse Attribute Field will turn Poppo's stats to all +1, which can turn the tides of a battle.
- Dinner, Pudding, and Saki's Cookie can be used to keep Marie Poppo's HP high.
- Rbits and Rainbow-Colored Circle can give Poppo a +1 in Defense or Evasion, respectively.
- Shield can be used to boost Marie Poppo's Defense even more, at the cost of being unable to attack.
- Tactical Retreat can also be used to instantly end a battle and save Marie Poppo from a KO, but with a high star cost.
- Big Magnum can be used with relatively small cost, given Marie Poppo's massive HP pool.
- Quick Restoration will revert all damage Poppo suffers in a battle, assuming she survives it.
